Walk Against War - Stop Arming Israel
Kendal to Burneside, 18th October

Sixty Palestine solidarity campaigners from across Cumbria and the North West gathered in Kendal on Saturday 18th October, and walked to the James Cropper plc factory in Burneside. The campaigners were calling on the company to be held accountable for producing materials that have been used in the genocide of the Palestinian people.

James Cropper plc produces material for the Israeli warplanes which have been used against the civilian population in Gaza. After 2 years of genocide, more than 65,000 people have been killed - including more than 19,000 children. Although a ceasefire is currently in place in Gaza, the Israeli airforce still poses a threat. Campaigners marched under a banner reading “Stop Supplying Genocide, never again to anyone”.
