Letter published in the Westmorland Gazette, 27th June, 2024:

In view of the public meeting to be held on Thursday 27 June at Kendal Friends Meeting House to discuss the involvement of local companies like James Cropper Ltd subsidiary Technical Fibre Products in the supply of components for the F35 aircraft that Israel has been using to attack Gaza and the recent joint letter from the Campaign Against the Arms Trade (CAAT), the Global Legal Action Network (GLAN), War on Want, and the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians to UK companies, I wonder if we can expect Burneside's James Cropper Ltd. to finally make a public statement on this subject?

According the the Guardian the letter from the four national groups makes it clear that the most recent finding of the International Criminal Court could result in UK firms facing criminal liability over their involvement in the manufacture of arms supplied to Israel.

Is this a prospect James Cropper Ltd look forward to or do they plan to end their involvement in the manufacture of war planes for Israel?
